Project Background
To meet the stringent demands of international markets, automotive products undergo localized adaptability testing prior to launch to validate their performance and reliability.
Our company has undertaken and successfully completed a 90-day adaptability road test in Australia for two pure electric SUV models of an independent brand. This project spanned key cities across Eastern and Southern Australia, covering 70% of the Australian population and over 90% of charging station brands. Each vehicle accumulated 17,000 kilometers, undergoing comprehensive dynamic testing and full-function verification to ensure reliability and superior performance across diverse road conditions and usage scenarios.

Adaptation Testing
Australia’s complex geographical environment and diverse climate types, ranging from tropical in the north to temperate in the south, present significant challenges for electric vehicles. Our meticulously established charging station database, test case library, and test route library for Australia provided a rigorous testing plan for this trial. This plan included five typical road conditions—highways, urban roads, rural roads, mountain roads, and night roads—each with strict allocation ratios. Furthermore, targeted tests were conducted for specific usage scenarios, such as tunnels and bridges. The testing covered areas such as charging compatibility and efficiency, ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), vehicle connectivity, smart cabin features, and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) verification.
The trial was divided into two phases of test routes, covering cities including Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, and Brisbane, with each vehicle accumulating 17,000 kilometers. The testing encompassed various climates: oceanic temperate, subtropical monsoon, and humid subtropical.

Test performance
During this adaptability trial, a total of 348 issues were identified across the two vehicles, with 63 being recurring issues. These issues were primarily concentrated in the areas of intelligent driving and the smart cabin.
In response to these issues, we collected detailed test data and promptly uploaded the issues to the system, providing comprehensive support to the client. We assisted the client in developing a detailed improvement plan and rapidly completed software updates and function optimization, ensuring issue resolution and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent launch of mass-produced models.
Teamwork
The successful completion of this test is attributed to the efficient collaboration of the Zixuan professional team. Our engineering team was responsible for developing the test plan and executing it throughout the entire process, while back-end technical support provided real-time project monitoring and optimization suggestions. Seamless coordination across customs clearance and registration, data collection and feedback, and other work streams ensured on-time project completion.
Significance and Outlook
The successful Australian road test provides solid data support for this model’s entry into the international market and also marks another significant milestone for our company in the field of global testing services. We express our gratitude to all partners and team members involved in the project for their hard work and dedication. Zixuan will continue to uphold its professional spirit, providing high-quality testing services to global automotive companies and driving the new energy vehicle industry towards new heights.
Looking ahead, we look forward to continuing to collaborate with more clients and helping Chinese automotive brands navigate broader international markets.
